got a problem with my petrol gauge it goes up and down when it likes while i am driving if i speed up it goes down and wen i brake it goes up but not all the time any ideas

It's just the fuel moving around the tank, making it appear like there is sometimes more fuel and vice versa

if you drive on a motorway you will get a true reading but town driving will make it read and low

i can drive along a flat road and it bounces up and down as it likes
