I happened to have been given one of these to use until xmas, and not a photographer, so was wondering what kind of stuff i can get up to with it.

How do i do those streaky light shots (long shutter speed?!)

Is there any good websites I can have a browse of, some tutorials and stuff.

I only have the basic lens with it 18-55mm.

set to manual, change shutter speed to BULB and your Apeture to F16 ish, hold the trigger for a bit then let go
