Seeing as though instantsite on https://www.123-reg.co.uk/ is crap, have decided to design my own.

What software would you recomend. The cheaper the better!

build in photoshop, slice up, edit in dreamweaver, frontpage etc...

plenty of sites that'll slice up a PSD layout (www.slice.me.uk etc)

html validator lite is the best to go for mate

tells you where and why there are mistakes and stufff

Or save your money and pay an actual web designer to do it, you'll get better results that way.

If its for a company thats going to be making money and wants to sell their services, you really would be better off paying someone who knows what they're doing to do it.

Nothing worse than skimping on the main things that will sell your business.

On programs or people to do it?

Programs, i use Photoshop/Fireworks/Dreamweaver if I put sites together.

People, i'm a graphic designer but i mainly do print, i am however not very busy at the moment so i could do something for you, would you need any print work done as well, such as business cards etc?
