I have been reading these forms on the filer's and box debate and i still don't know which one to use.
Sure the Viper filter would be better than a drilled box purely for it's price and reviews, altho a drilled box is a very good fail safe??
HELP...

Depends if you wanna spend alot of money on the Viper just for the induction roar.
Drilled, derestricted airbox with a decent panel filter and cold air feed will do the job just as well but without being too loud.

Ive done both, drilled airbox is very good for the money with a K&N panel filter but comes no where near my viper with morette airfeed. So depends really, how much money you got and how much patients you have waiting for a vaux viper to come up on ebay. I waited 6 months, got bored and bought a different one and made it fit

The shorter the piper the better
My morette was the most direct. Seen some one who routed it backwards and up into the scuttle panel area after cutting a hole for it
