my water pump bearing is on its way out so theirs a rattling noise louder then the exhaust but would this cause me to loose water aswell?

theirs bits of water coming out my exhaust aswell does this mean the head gaskets on its way out? from what i can see theirs no mayo stuff yet

i had water coming out the exhaust of my x16xe mate and it was found out that the head was cracked £700 quid later its fixed lol

not saying it is that but it was with mine, mine was throwing water out the exhaust about a foot long, get it checked then you will know for sure mate

your water pump can leak water yes, and you want to get it changed quik as possible if its making a loud noise, i have seen a water pump snap before and bend 7 valves.

You could have picked up, a second hand head had it rebuilt and fitted with cambelt kits etc for a lot cheaper

i now i have to replace the water pump but i was doing some work on the engine today and i noticed the coolant bottle was empty again and i have noticed abit of water coming out the exhaust
