i bought a car with a aftermarket alarm system, think its called a meta system

basically i have no key fob for it so the alarm will need taking out

anyone know how to remove the alarm or does it have a "brain" you can remove and disarm it

Is it an just alarm or immobiliser aswell?
Have a look behind the glove box and see if the control box is there.
