Because of the cold weather, i need the heaters on....but they dont go "hot", just alittle warmer than cold. cant really see any difference.
Whats the problem, the switch works fine.

Checked the cable on the switch? Sometimes they come loose off the clips alongside of the stereo area and thus not actually set to hot even though switch is turned all that way

Could be the thermostat is knackered.
