all i can say is WOW, my camera now feels like a point and shoot thing now  admittedly i wasnt playing with any of the settings as they were done via the computer but jebus its ace, i love the fact theres a shutter release button on the corner for when your holding the camera in portrait. (know most good dslrs have this but first time iv used a camera with it).

That will be a battery grip, the 1Ds probably has one built in like the D3. I have one on my D300 deffo useful.

I felt the same when i upgraded but then it should do as it cost triple what my old one cost!

Had a play with a 1D, but not the 1Ds.
Amazing bit of kit but a bit heavy to lug around all the time I thought.
Get yourself a grip for your camera though, makes a world of difference!

unfortunatly not, its just a bit of her bra that she was wearing.
and cant remember who said it but iv gone and got the grip, its for xmas tho so got to wait  lol.
