for the gains not really worht the expense tbh.
inlet/powerbox, decent filter, exhaust, lightened flywheel, good to go

dont eveb need a fly wheel or spend loads on a filter.
power box, full exhaust system, and even keep the air box and it will be fast.
good suspension, brakes and lighten the car up a bit, and you'll have a nippy car on your hands.

by decent i mean normal panel filter in stock airbox.
lightened flywheels might not add power, but help the car to rev up abit quicker

you've misunderstood me. the biggest cams you can fit/use without having pistons pocketed atleast arent worth the money.
perf inlet, panel filter and id say lightened flywheel will make a hell of a lot more differance than the cams. and tbh, i found the stock exhaust on my c16xe better than the manifold/system i ended up fitting too it tbh.
and the inlet, flywheel will probably cost less than what the cams would cost, and only add a couple of bhp in reality
mike - 8v's can run higher lift cams with standard pistons compared to 16v's. think you can run a newman sprint cam without any problems
