Im building a small pc to have as a media center in my mum and dads room so they can watch films etc off the PC Network we have at home.
The TV is a big (40inch) sony tv with everything but vga in and hd in... (its quite old)
what are my options to have the TV as the monitor for web browsing, watchin films, playing games etc?
tv out?
- what kind of quality would i get?
- what card would i need?
vga to scart converter?
- where can i get these?
- are they any good?
please help!

You could use S-video if it has that, but unless you use HDMI then it will have a really low resolution and will look horrible.

As above, if it's a crt TV there aren't any options for using it for web browsing.
Films and games you'll get away with though.
