My brakes are shit at the mo, need new pads soon really and backs could do with renewing... Don't wanna spend money but think I'll have to lol.
Got grooved/drilled fronts on at mo (1.6 Sport so 256x20mm) and EBC green stuff pads, had them both on for about 18 months.
Discs have a lip on them at the top, not massive or anything but the outer rim of the disc (either side of the "vents") is quite rusty and rough looking now... Not sure if they're dead or be fine with a new set of pads?

probably best changing both discs and pads. for optimum braking! and the discs will prob be advised or failed on the MOT if the lips bigish

MOT was only a couple of months ago and no advisories or anything so I aint sure.. can't really get good pics cuz of the cavslabs but I'll try so my description makes more sense

cant even see them behind those wheels really...and another story is the locking nut key is bust so the wheels are stuck on lol

bad!!when you say your brakes a bad how are they?? are they spongy or just dont stop?? maybe worth changing the fluid aswell!!

Bit spongy, have press on bit harder than usual to stop.. am thinking pads and a fluid change would do wonders just unsure about the discs lol will try get pics tomorrow.

just do the fluid first! it could be the fluids had it so the performance of everything else is suffering!

I do think me pads are low though, can just about see 'em lol but yeah I've kept the car well serviced, even gone as far as flushing PAS and renewing that, brake fluids the only one not been done..

defo best to do that as the brake fluid absorbs oxygen over time causing them to be spongy!

they do look pretty worn. but i cant tell properly, prob best to change them!
