hi everyone

the corsa started off as a standard car about 9 months ago since then i have done a few little mods but now the big mods start.

here are a few old pics as havent got any new ish ones yet.

spec list so far:

lowered 60mm all round on g max springs and shocks
front and rear strut braces omp
wolfrace wheels 195/45/15
debadged front grill
bucket seats
3 point harrnesses
sportex exhaust
no rear seats.

I picked my engine up from work 2day 2 bring it home as had it delevierd 2 my work.

as soon as i got it hme on the stand it went and started stripping her dwn to see what she had been treated like and turns out she was well looked after which was a releaf. so i started cleaning and labeling everying up with help from my dad and then we clean the block up and pistons and the bors. then moved on to the head and puttin new valves in.

looking good so far, what did you use to clean the block? dont understand why people paint the block black, harder to spot oil leaks surely?

i used some oil and grease remover i got from halfords and then i used a wire brush drill bit and went over the block with that to get rid of any old flaky paint that was on there

not much of a update. i stripped the head down to find that one valve lifter was it two pieces so im glad i stripped the head down otherwise it would of been a big problem.

ive now got 16 new valve lifters so the head is ready two put back together. also got a new cambelt so i can it all timed up.

more updates soon keep, watchin this project as its only just started
