Ive wanted a new TV for a while now and my 2 options are
Sony KDL40V4000
Sony KDL40W4500 This being my first option
I have the chance to get the V4000 for £498 with a stand and a 3 year warranty which seems to me as a bargain.
Not sure if to get it or wait it out and get my first option, but its an extra £350 and thats probably without a stand.
Im unsure

V4000 at that price with a stand is a bargain if you ask me, Iv got the slightly older model to that, as a full HD tv you cant get better imo.

the difference as far as i know is that the w4500 has 100hz and i think it has a different engine, and little extras like memory card slots

actually after looking i can see they are the same engine, so the only real difference is the 100hz, the usb photo viewer and probably some extra options.
Im really only bothered about the 100hz, but is this really that much better and will i be bothered seeing as im upgrading from a CRT tv anyway

You will be amazed with the V4000 mate, 100Hz will not really be that noticeable.
