as above, i was bought the headunit for christmas cos i've been after one with ipod compatability. all seems to work fine except when i turn the volume up and it gets past a certain point the headdunit switches itself off and back on and will do it until i turn it down a bit. It seems to me that when there is quite a bit of bass in the song it cuts out so it depends on what type of song is being played to which volume level it cuts out on. I only have standard components and rear speakers in the car and have never experienced this problem before. i am yet to try a cd in it so cant say if it happens with that but it does with my ipod nano
