hey,
My BF bought me a new Fusion ipod sterio for the corsa for xmas and has been trying to fit it 2day, went to halfrouds and bought a proper wiring adapter for a corsa and went to fit it..
Plug it all 2gether and it flashs up "fusion" to show it has power then off again.
turn the ignition...nothing
press the on button...nothing
So to check it wasnt a faulty sterio he plugged it into hes 106, flashed up fusion again then off again, then turn the ignition and it all lights up and turns on!!
So somewhere along the line im not getting power from the ignition or something???
Any ideas? as neither of us know alot about wiring lol
cheers

Something to do with the wiring then I'd imagine. I had the same problem in mine coz something was plugged in the adapter that wasn't needed, as soon as I got ridda that, it worked fine.

The harness from stereo to iso plug on car the red and yellow should be on bullet connectors half way down the lead, if it has then just swap the red and yellow round

Its a bad picture as is wrong lead ect but best one i could find, the leads im refering to will be like the ones to the right of the elastic band but different colour and only one per conector but yours should be connected red to red yellow to yellow with bullet connectors like the ones in the picture just unplug them both and swap them round red to yellow, hope is some help

Did swapping the wires work or did you run a live from the battery? As swapping the wires would of ment you would'nt of had to do that and would of turned on and off with ignition?

^^ swapping the wires didn't work! So have had to run a live from the battery which results in me having to turn it on manually instead of the lazy way with the ignition...
if that makes ANY sence at all
