can anyone tell me the benefits/drawbacks of removing the plastic trim on the inside of the wheel arch?

if you've got 17s they'll scrub/if your cars silly low also, shit in the engine bay

ok then was just checking, and i only have 15" alloys, the car hasn't been lowered yet and is at the start of being an engine swap project.

removing then means every bit of crap on the road can get into the engine bay, i left one of mines off last year and hit a puddle and sucked most of it into the engine bay

why would you want to take them off? they are there for a reason, Like asking what would the benifits / drawbacks be with taking the bonnet off

thing is i had to remove m ine as im on 15s and the wheels catch the inner arch liner, dont drive the car at the moment but are therye any other solutions if its low, also noticed you get crap in hte front door shut
