Owned this car 2 and a half years had 1 owner before who traded it in at a garage near me for a bigger car.
Its done 55,000 miles and still runs perfect. Had 43k when bought.
In the life of me owning it iv'e done the clutch and idle control sensor and serviced every year got all books stamped and old m.o.t's + v5.
Good points:
Mot till september
Tax till end of february
Full powerflow stainless steel exhaust is pretty quiet (lifetime)
Gsi Alloys all good tyres and spare in boot
Gsi Suspension so is slighty lower and feels better
Electric power steering
Sports interior
Electric windows
Very clean inside
Extremly good on petrol 700 mile to a full tank £47
Cheap on insurance Group 3
Never let me down Starts 1st time every time.
Will service before sold
Totally standard
Bad Points:
Car has few scratches 1 on boot 1 on door 1 on bumper
Noisy thrust bearing on clutch (suspect needs bearing changing on clutch never bothered me as sound went when driving)
Small Fag burn on back seat, was there when bought car.
Overall this car is perfect for someone wanting a cheap run around or 1st car or even a redtop conversion. has been looked after by our family so wants going to a good home :d will be all clean and tidy for viewing.
