If anyone is looking for an easy to use and simple way of tracking their energy usage and so help them to predict bills a bit better take a look here
www.imeasure.org.uk
Registration is quick and easy, you enter meter readings once a week and it tracks and calculates everything for you. Plus I think it helps research at Oxford uni?

I have one of these for measuring electricity.
Although I still think they're nothing but an excellent money making idea for the company who makes them you'd be surprised how much it makes you think about what you have on.

Cool looking device, I have an EcoEye which plugs in the wall, £6 off ebay. Its alright having a Wattson but some things cant be turned off regardless, such as fridge/freezer, boiler etc, but would be a cool gadget.
Dread to think how much it costs though

I've got a plug in one as well, the wattson you just leave on and it's easy to see, especially at night when it glows and lights up a wall, you load the data into the computer and can check trends etc, quite good but £100 is a lot to be able to check it.
