I test drove a 106 gti and didnt like it much, wasnt really all that quick, too small inside, cramped cabin etc, pedals too close together, and to be honest I thought it didnt look all that good. This one was diablo red, I wanted a sundance yellow one but my test drive put me right off.

Handling was spot on, thats the only good thing I have to say about it.

I like them being small..... at my age this is what I like.... small car... go kart handling and goes like stink. To say it really wasnt that quick you musnt of been driving it right mate... not many cars in its class can touch it, dont compare it to something Japaneese with 3-4k under the hood.

Trust me I was giving it some, just wasnt as fast as I expected / got told. I had a GSi before and had drove plenty of fast cars before aswell. Maybe my expectations of it were a bit high. I was set to buy one of these just over a year ago, but didnt because the test drive left me a litle disapointed. So yes I went for something jap instead Not got £3-4K under hood yet but who knows, maybe someday

Thats a bit silly mate... no need to be like that... patrick's car is pap, for the power he wants that engine wont deliver. Faults all the time and its only marginally faster.... take his times

the thing I would like to point out that an enclosed system with a long cold air pipe has a feck load of restristion. also and enclosed filter has a shite load of restriction compared to an open cone filter.
