Ive only ever bought one induction kit and i can quite honestly say it has never given me ANY problems with loss of power or anything related like flatspots. It cost 120 quid...and i believe was quite new on the market when i bought it.

nice - you paid £120 for a filter which lets through small particles compared to gauze and foam. well done

That's not a good induction kit. I can tell that just by looking - it will be stupidly noisy, let in crap and it doesn't even have a heat shield. You paid £120 for that? Fool.

It is also too big, it is not necessary to have such a big filter, especially on such a small engine - I'd expect to see something like that on the V8 of my mums Jeep...

Also, have you had diagnostics/roling road tests done on the engine to prove this statement?

TBH it's probably all true, it will let warm air in and let the incoming air escape not that loosing 0.001 psi is going to do anything.
