Ive just done a poll about 1.2's and 1.4's. People reccomended the 1.2 over the 1.4 as the 1.4 SRI aint much quicker than the 1.2 SXI. So why are people in this post sayin 1.4's are much better than 1.2's ? Confusin stuff

These things are a waste of time. Why do you want a flame?
If you get a flame out of your exhaust it just shows that it isn't running properly, hence you look like a twat, no one is going to think its got a mental engine, they will think its fooked.
Thats unless they are coming out of an Evo or something

Cyber - i'm fed up with corsas now mate.....car is gettin too borin + over done for my liking. Think i've seen near enuff every combo of mods possible and i've got my car to a stage where i'm happy. Was gonna drop a 1.4 16v in but in the end, wasnt worth the hassle.
End of summer will see the arrival of a 2000 Astra 1.8 16v Sport (125bhp and very tunable, not forgetting the very respectable 0-60 and top speeds). And no, i wont be fittin a flamer to that either! 
My mate's have said my 1.2 8v tends to lick a flame when i'm changin gear at like 5k, so i'm happy any way (even if the engine isnt!)

We are talking about the 1.2 8v which is far different than the 16v. The 8v has only 45bhp and couldnt pul the skin off a rice pudding. The 16v is far better and isnt much different to the 1.4 performance wise. And its only in Insurance group 2e.
Good luck with the Astra matty, they are nice cars, great to drive, good engine. Have fun.

well i got a quad powerflow decat exhaust and when im sitting at about 70ish i get flames on a 1.2 8v
