Well thought id try to make some speaker pods for my corsa, stupidly i used silicone (in small areas) to attach some speaker brackets to the door card. Without realising there was silicone residue on the plastics i started to fibreglass it....... well what can i say, i failed badly
Now the fibreglass peels off the plastics with ease, so ive pretty much given up!
What can i use to clean/strip the silicone residue from the plastics so i can save myself from wasting time and money. Any help is needed, hopefully someone has had some experience of this

Autoglym Intense Tar Remover may get it off, it says it gets silicone deposits off I think, and it got the glue off left over from my bump strips. Doesn't hurt to give it a go, plus it's good for other stuff too

I'd try thinners personally. That stuff removes huge amounts of tar residue with ease.
