hi everyone, need abit of help as its not my day today, my alternator belt snapped, and now because ive wired up an mfd my hazard light switch lights up when i put the keys in the ignition and turn it on without starting the car and my headlights aint on, what could be causing this do anyone know?, please help

did do before it came on, but i dont know at the minute as the belts snapped so i dont want to risk starting it but im getting a new belt for it tomorrow so ill try it then, not the whole of the switch lights up, just the triangle in the middle lights up.
