Just saw a copper in with a laser gun standing at the top of my road and, I was doing about 35 in a 30 but not sure if he got me or not, do they tend to pull you over if you are speeding? He didn't look like he was ready to catch me but only caught a glimpse as I went past.

sounds like you got away with it, if it was just a laser then he would have to pull you over.

if you get a letter surely you could just ask them to prove it which.... they can't? thus charges dropped

Yeah thats what I thought, didn't look like one that took a picture either. He didn't look set and oncoming traffic would have blocked his view.

This is getting ridiculous, Barnshaw said he saw someone identical to me in Windsor on Saturday and almost introduced himself

I'm sure they would normally have intercept teams running in conjunction with the handheld speed detection operations so if you didn't get pulled you can probably breathe a sigh of relief

I got done with a laser the other day. They pulled me over, they wouldn't have been able to prove it if they hadn't as it just showed my speed. I wouldn't worry yourself Ollie.

My missus was doing 35 in a 30 round her housing estate, copper puled her over and told her not to do it again and be more careful in future. No idea what would have happened if he was a twat copper.

I flew past one once on the bike. It looked like the copper was only just setting up for the day and he couldn't get in his van quick enough. Practically slipped on his own sweat. Never heard anything though
