One of my mates stopped going and when he returned they told him owed over £1k!! They cleared the debt in the end as he was only 15 the last time he went!

I struggle after I miss a session so gods knows what you're going to be like after 3 months!!

I go 3 times a week, only do weights as I have my cardio with football/mountain bike which is way more fun than slogging on a threadmill etc. Still got a way to go though to get how I want to look (pics in my garage )

Could do with losing a bit of body fat and sorting my abs now.

uve really got to sort your diet out, and stop the boozing at weekends also, would be surprised how much better you feel off the booze whilst at the gym, and how much the booze ruins your weeks work if you go out every weekend

Exactly, and if you have to drink stick to spirits with diet coke etc IMO, still isn't good for you but a dam sight better than a belly full of beer I would think.

best way to get back into it is go with a mate who is keen on training and try and go straight from work. its hard when you go home, sit down and THEN try and go to the gym as half the time it doesnt happen.

also you have to enjoy it, i personally love going to the gym and over the past few years have been able to put on over 3 stone through training and now im at my strongest benching 120kg for 5 reps on an olympic bench.

ignore what other people look like around you, listen to your ipod, get into the zone and enjoy it

i'd rather pay a premium to use something every single day rather than paying 50 quid a month or so to go to a gym 1-2 times a week for a couple hourse

but hey, if you like watching ripped men tone their 6-packs then please don't let me stop you from going to the gym

Starting to think I'd be better off getting a bike and going cycling or something like that. Means I get fresh air too and doesn't cost me £40 a month

I've recently cancelled my gym membership, wasn't making the most of it. Was getting to point where I couldn't be bothered going after work. I've now started going swimming before work 3 times a week. Seems to work better for me

I go to the gym straight from work, beats sitting in 30-40 minutes worth of traffic + I enjoy it

I go before work...up at 6am and into the gym for 7.30ish. Couldn't hack going after work as with my train commute I wouldn't get home till gone 9pm...

I go 5 times a week, worth the £25 a month without a doubt.

Lots of cardio will not help you loose weight my friend, it may help u loose a little weight but you'd be much better trying big compound exercises with weight training, such as your squats, deadlifts and pull ups, also trying circuit training or 'bodyweight cardio' as Craig Ballantyne likes to call it - try www.turbulencetraining.com for some inspiration. 15-20 mins of super sets/ compound sets/ circuits, as little as 3 x per week can see great results - some success stories can be seen at - www.transformationcontest.com
