Right friends PC is playing up, really strange. Open jpegs in fax and picture veiwer works fine same as any other program, EXCEPT IE 6 or 7 I have tried upgrading from 6 to 7 and visa versa. The picture loads but its really crap, like when you have 256colours (that sort of crap) open it in mozila and works fine.
Does matter if the picture is local or Internet all the same. Have tried to rebuild the machine and same with new hard drive. Changed the memory, graphics card, DPI settings, removed internal modems etc. Al same results...
When I move the memory (single 512mb stick) to another slot (ther are 3) the PC reboots, so something wrong with mobo is all I can think, but doesnt feel like a hardware problem. The rest of the PC works fine Please help, pissing me off !!!!!!

I hope you don't mean you're taking it out and moving while the PC is turned on
The RAM should be in slot 1 if there is only one stick.

You'd have got an answer quicker in geek day and it would have been relevant instead of people telling you to post in geek day.
