By the time this comes out we will be buying the next console by Microsoft!
Sony have really dropped a bollock not getting this game on the shelves.

Then again, a game like this will probably revive PS3 sales towards the end of the year once they've declined a bit. Still is a joke tho.

The 'demo' is a massive game in it's own right and only cost £20 so that's not really a good point.

Its so unrealistic though!
Thats why I got converted to xbox after being a lifelong Playstation fan and owner.

compared to what? forza's arcade effort? forza is more like need for speed pro street than a real race game.

Wasn't really having a go at your gaming prowess or lack of it, just a general American-style comment on your Forza 2 opinion

forza has the benefit of being as simple or as in depth as you want it too

i dont get why its taking so long for it to come out unless its got some realism to it ie damage etc proper tuning like forza had awaits a slating for that one it will be a shite game yes graphics and details will be good but that dont make a good racing game race pro is out on xbox end of the monthand that looks very good demo for it should be out friday

It doesnt have damage for a reason, its a driving simulator so is about, and is focused on the driving and not the crashing, and parts breaking off etc. The thing I prefer with GT5 is its more realistic, with the licenses etc and I found Forza was dead repetitive, all the tracks seemed the same and it bored the life out of me. Cant wait for GT5.

Do you play GT5 Prologue with just the joypad or a steering wheel set up?
I'm mostly all golds in Class C, B and A too. But there's 3 challenges at the end of Class S that I just can't clear at all, even bronze! The Ferrari F40 'overtake them all' race and both 750PP races. I think using a joypad is hampering my efforts. Either that or I'm just rubbish!

i would not say that its a simulator at all if it was a simulator damage would be included it not about bits flying off etc forzas damage as excellent in the way that you had tyre wear and fuel etc and both of these affected how the games played your time got faster when you had less fuel and you got slower times when your tyres were worn but unless you played the game for long periods of time you would not even notice this i just think that all the gt games were to arcade for my liking and i expect this to be the same

GT peaked with the second game.
2 discs - one for GT and one for Aecade. Loved the muscle cars too
Wasn't a fan of 4 and 5 just needs to bring back the tracks from the first game plus San Francisco to make it great.

Depends if you consider it a driving or racing simulator I suppose, I find the bumper car style racing of GT off-putting, especially online as you can just smash into each other with impunity.
