The PCI card is your internal modem. Probably a crappy win-modem, with shite drivers, so good luck getting it going.
The INtel Firmware hub sounds like either the north or southbridge chip on your motherboard. Have you got drivers for these aswell? You should have gotten CD's with everything on.

PCI card is an in-built Network Interface Card...its used if you wanted to set up a LAN for a broadband connection etc...if its bringing up the PCI device it prob needs the drivers re-installing...after a format or upgrade of windows it normally does. Tiny should have provided u with a disk with these drivers on.
PCI card is NOT you internal modem.
hope this helps.

Or it could be an NIC.As its from TINY I would suspect its an internal modem rather than an NIC.

No if its a newish PC they almost always come with a on-board LAN card or NIC installed...TINY do install NIC cards in there PC's as its the norm these days with broadband technology being quite big now. Beside u can get a decent NIC for £10-15...and TINY probably get them for a fraction of that.

Well, ifs its an NIC or Internal modem, he still needs to do the same, he needs to get the drivers, and install them.

Yeah but it does normally state PCI Communications device if its a modem...anything else and its normally a NIC card.
as u say either way it will need to drivers re-installing.

best way to deal with tiny mate is to walk into the store with it. Download the firmware hub drivers i put up the top.

Oh yeah cheers AustinPXX thats fixed the firmware hum one.
Tiny no longer exists its part of time so only way i can get it fixed is by using the help line. I tried talking to time computers in store and they just said you have to ring the help line.
Doesnt really matter about the PCI card as modem etc are working fine.
Only other problem is that if i run directx 9 or 7 etc and test sound all checks are ok but it now says your computer does not support hardware playback, whereas it never used to say it. and sound quality has gone down hill.
