for 40k you could grab a couple of Barco Cine9 projectors and go for a blended PJ setup which would look a shite load better than any plasma/LCD at that size

The reason someone might want one of these over a projector would be so you dont have to view it in the dark like you do with a projector.
Largest Panasonic we've fitted at work are the 65" and they are a pain in the arse due to the weight.. from what I've heard, the 103" comes with its own crane for fitting (similar to an engine crane), and I believe they actually assess your property with a plastic mock unit to ensure you can physically get the screen in your property before delivery is attempted.
