I've never really bothered with it before but went out for a walk in the snow and decided to take my camera. The photos aren't much, but I'm really amazed at how much the Exposure Compensation makes to the image.
This is about how the eye can see.
Darker.
Darker still - I love how it captures the reflection of the sun on the window. Bare in mind this was about 4pm
And the epic fail when I went the wrong way.
They were also taken with a UV Haze Filter and Lens hood.

Exposure compensation is just like increasing or decreasing the shutter speed but it does it automatically if you know the sensor will be fooled by the conditions.

No. Its a footpath going out of Cardington. Theoretically I'm facing the A600 from Shefford to Bedford.
