do sri's have the chain instead of a belt its a 1994 and does anyone no how much they are to buy and replace because i have a slight feeling this one on myn is knackerd evrtym u put ur foot down hard it like a rattling knocking noise coming from under bonnet sure its that from reading other peoples problems

Belt.

The only engines to have a timing chain that I know of are X10XE, X12XE and the Corsa C variants, plus the 'Twinport' 1.4 cars.
