My old man walked into a dealership with cash and got less than a grand off, just depends what car etc...

They look at you like a wierdo if you go in with enough cash to buy a car outright now.

The last few times I've bought from a dealership/garage they've refused to accept cash, debit/credit cards only.

My dad was made up today telling me that Land Rover have written to him with £6k off a Range Rover. I broke it to him that you need to spend £62k to take advantage of the saving

you cant buy cars from dealerships wth cash. it costs too much to bank - they only take cheques or electronic funds...

Discount wont ever drop as low as cost price so dont expect too much of a saving. why you would buy a brand new 16k corsa vxr when you can pick up a year old one for under 9k now is beyond me!
