That's pretty impressive! I had just watched Arnold Swazeneger (sp) on tv tonight and thought of him and ta da... got it right.

It uses a neural network I'd imagine.

It works by being a giant decision tree by the looks of it...

Male or female is usually the first branch in the tree

followed by

Are they real which will be another branch...

etc etc

Either that or neural net

Eventually after say 15 branches it'll only be a small handful it could be.

Plus it gets taught new people by the players themselves when it gets it wrong.

sorry that was a reply to dan-sport's 'how' and not you Ian.

Although this is the same sort of tech that is used in many forms, such as diagnosing a problem with your car or a illness with a person... Often found in customer support centers.

Holy fuck...

It guessed this person 'Agnieszka Frykowska (Frytka)' which was wrong... then I continued with 'more questions'...

and it eventually got it right... Jade Goody

Although that'll need updating soon, as I clicked 'Alive' Technically I also clicked not married - so it's already out of date

Shocked it'd get a z lister like that though.
