as above i have rebulit my x16xe had the head skimmed lightened and balenced crank and flywheel new valves springs lifters and all seals ect. the only problem is that each cylinder is running at 250lb which seems very high. the engine has done about 7k since rebuild and the bottam end bearings are starting to grow abit. does any body know of a double thickness head gasket or where to get one from? as this should lower my comp abit for when i replace the big ends. thanks a bunch fellas

that sounds about right for a 1.6 with a skimmed head. my bog standard 1.4 was putting 210 on each cyl
