I want to get some better guns on COD4 for when I'm having private games with my mates... but the problem is that I dont play online enough to get the XP up quickly... is there a way of "cheating" this, so I have a better chance against my mates? They all spend hours and hours on the game, but I just dont have the time or the attention span for that.

Play Headquarters rather then Team Deathmatch.
You'll get more XP in these gamnes if your team win

Play search & destroy games, but only if you are half decent. Loadsa points.
Oh and its been double XP points all weekend on COD4, might still be today.

I play Search and destroy... thing is you get a lot of new people playing it so if your even remotely good at it you'll destroy the newbies!

I've seen mention of people "faking" a game.. so you arrange to play headquarters or something and both teams take turns to stand by the target and gain points like that... anyone tried this?
This sucks  why should you have to dedicate your life to a stupid game just so you can have the same chances when playing your mates in a closed game?
