What are the SE C902 like:
Been with sony a few years now and like them, just want an all round phone, nothing mega fancy.
Came across a website where i should be able to get a deal which is 600mins, unlimited txt on O2 for £15/month for 24 months
Opinions please

Id go with something elseon two big points. If your the kind of person that likes to throw your phone about and put it in your pocket with change etc, they have three silver lines allway round the edge of the phone, it wears off and looks a twat, doesnt need much pursuasion to wear off even general use will eventually do it. Also if you like to listen to music on your phone, say in the bath, then youll have to be prepared to send it off for warranty when the speaker breaks, mines due to be sent off for the 2nd time as its broken again, dont know long ive had the fone but i would say thats 4-5 months. After that its a good phone and it takes abuse quite well, its no where near a k800i but its okay.

Well my phone is always in my pocket by itsa own
And i never listen to music in the bath.
If they are the only 2 points which are user induced.....

Avoid at all costs! i had 4 of these all with similar faults.
Would freeze-up, turn off, be really slow, cut off calls etc..
Tried software updates with no results.
If you keep it in your pocket the camera mech fills up with dust and crap which gets stuck in the phone and goes behind the front camera and ear phone.
The charger socket becomes loose and doesnt charge properly.
Definitely the worst phone ive ever had and would have another SE again
Read the reviews on them, you'll find lots of very similar stories.

Also if its a 24month contract, you'll be lucky if the phone lasts 6months

not all contracts come with insurance, infact most dont
They are definately buggy, but not all bad., We sell tons, intial batches where shite as with most phones tbh. Seem fine now
Im not a big sony fan anymore, so i would reccomend a nokia instead.
But if you like them, then seemsa good deal as mentioned

Dont think so, nearly all phone insurances are an extra premium per month
O2's is £6/month on-top of the line rental and they never discount them

I must have had all early phones, one of my mates had one and his was fine.
Although one of the C902's i had was the Titanium James Bond edition which must have been a fairly recent model?
I just wouldn't recommend them on my experience, without the niggles its a great phone with some good features.
Much prefer my N96 though!

It says it on the website, so im inclinded to believe it
As far as i can work out, providing you update the firmware off the SE website, most things are hunky dory.
I would imagine that is done now before the phone leaves the factory

^^ general build of this phone is shocking
I worked on 1 the other day, was far to easy for a midrange budget handset. I would look for business range of Nokia
I personally use Nokia E71, 1 of the best phones I have used and I thought SE were amazing until I go this! I love it!

You never get free insurance for more than a month and that's only so you'll forget about it and they can continue taking money off you.
I've got an E71 now, second e-series nokia and it's so far been as good as my E51, built really really well.
