I got 3 Blu rays off Amazon for about £18 (3 for 2 offer). Can't moan at £6 per disk they were about £4-5 on normal DVD
If it's something decent it's worth it for the extras. I hummed & harred for a while about the band of brothers box set, but the extras on BR were well worth the extra £10

There's interviews, directors commentary type thing. Then the same again with the actual guys from Easy Company. The best extra is the one that keeps bringing up information/maps/details/video clips as you watch. Really really good I thought

I download all my HD films at uni, stick them on my 32GB pen drive and take them home. PC is connected to HD projector and 80" screen via DVI to HDMI, sound goes via SPDIF to the amp. So no, I dont have a bluray player yet I can watch bluray films

That pic is almost too small to see, but basically I download films at around 10-11MB/s, so around 8 minutes for a 4.7GB file.

you dont benefit from HD audio though , but yeah i download all my HD rips dont buy bluray.
still doesnt take too long downloading from home 2.4MB/s
