yes; abs takes its signal from the abs ring, which is on your CV

i wouldnt bover with v6 brakes to be ohnest, just use 2.0 brakes, v6 brakes have 1 big piston and you will never get a true hard pedal as the fluid takes ages to travel around the piston and push it out,
i'd recommend some wilwood 2 pots ect

abs doesnt take a signal from abs ring, the ABS ECU recieves signals from the ABS sensors, located on the wheel hub the sensor is a magnet, the ring it self is a pick up that changes the signal thats recieved by the sensor

my mate offered me a set with newish pads for £20 so i thought i might aswell. as long as theres an improvement compared to the standard 1.4 sport brakes ill b happy. got braded hoses which should take a bit of the spongyness away aswell.
i thought abs works off a hydraulic control unit, just thought it would be programed to respond to the standard brakes on the car. didnt realise it works off a ring and sensor. learnt somethign new tho which is always good
