IIRC on the back of car mags, there used to be an advertisment, for a pay monthly clifford alrm scheme, is this offer still about and do you get a good alarm or is it just a cheap one?

think theres a choice of diff ones mate depends on how much you want to spend, i think you can still get the top notch alarm but monthly payments would be higher obv
