I'm getting a canvas for my bedroom but I can't decide which image to use. My bedroom is completely black and white, so I was going to go for a very black and white style picture hence the selective colouring... But when they're compared side to side, the coloured photo just stands out far more. I think it's because a lot of the bike (and me) are black and white, so you can't get the full potential of selective colouring.

If you don't like either of these, and would like to have a play with the original JPEG for me, please ask and I'll send it to you via e-mail. I'd be very grateful if you could spend a few minutes tweaking it for my wall.
I posted in 'Off Day' and not 'Snap Day' because anyone can have an opinion on a image/canvas...
Cheers to Graham for the original picture.

Personally like the second one.
What colour is your bedroom walls/wallpaper though? May be worth putting you/the bike in the same colour as the wall to make it match?

No, he doesn't... I've been speaking with him and I'm probably going to go with him, but he's certainly not cheap. Graham got a canvas made for £18 delivered and I had a close look at it and it looked superb quality. It could fade I guess, but he's had it for a year and it still looks decent. I believe Tim uses much better materials and I'll probably go with him, but he's certainly not cheap compared to others.

On there he said (and posted a pic) that he was half the price of asda
hence assuming cheap?

Probably is, but Asda probably rape everyone for their canvases. He also charges £10 delivery which is another large chunk!

I'm not really keen on either of them. They both look over processed.
If I had to chose, it'd have to be no2.

That's the effect I'm going for. I want it to look almost like a painting. The original image is just bland and boring, and I really don't want something like that on the wall. I guess it's just individual taste at the end of the day.

Prefer the first. Just because you have a black and white theme, it doesnt mean you have to implement it on everything you put in there. A bit of colour would break up the black and white great.

I think they would look better with a grain or ink affect.

It's only filter and click mate, just for ideas.
Have to think how it will look mounted on the wall.
Just dont think having one which looks like a photo is any good, might aswel just get a photo and a frame rather then a canvas print.

Done two quick ones as a rough idea, just to see what you think of them so ignore the rough edges.
Super blur the whole background so the picture is more in your face
Or a Rastobator style image. The CS garage has reduced the size by a bit so it looks a little off. Would work better with more dots, but want to hear your general reaction to the style first. It's not to everyone's taste.
