If you've not pased your test then why waste money making it faster?

Aside from getting a 1.6 in the first place. Only other way is to get an aftermarket inlet manifold, but then you will have to declare engine mods on insurance...

In short, you can't. Get a bigger engine.

Janspeed 4-2-1 manifold. And don't put a cone filter on it. Also take the restrictor pipes out of the airbox. And fit a K&N panel filter.

So you can't pass your test but you want to make your car faster.

You do realise the test is jsut teaching you how to get from A-B and you've actually learned ZERO car skills yet.

Don't you think you should learn to actually DRIVE a car and whats really involved before tyring to think your some kind of race driver?

If not, see you in the hedge soon........

Spend money on making it look better instead. You aren't going to get any serious gains from that engine unless you spend some big money. Bottom end acceleration - different gearbox.... one of the 4 speeds from an older corsa

Mine still is slow in the bottom revs and ive got performance 4 branch, inlet manifold, pipercross induction, full exhaust system (decat etc) and no back seats lol. Just takes them a while to get to speed!

My younger bro is in a similar situation... as said unless you spend BIG MONIES you aren't going to see anything major an aftermarket inlet manifold is your best bet an exhaust system and new filter

Why not concentrate on making it handle really well? ARBs, Coilovers, Polybush (sp) and decent tyres?

The inlet manifold will get you the best power increase for the money
