Anybody know him added me on msn asking me what school i went to thinking could be hacker and says he seen me on here?

they can only do anything if you accept something from them, i dont see why people are making a big issue.

well he asked me were im from n he said he was from the same place so i started questioning him about the location and he couldnt answer a bit suspicous

Just make sure not to accidentally give him your post code and / or your secret question answer or any personal information that may help him hack your accounts.

yea thats why i asked him loads of questions about him cus he said he lived near me but obviously hadnt a clue about the area so went offline

I don’t like how people like this get the label of "hacker".

A hacker is someone who finds and uses vulnerabilities in software in order to compromise it etc....among other complex actions.

This kind of person clearly relies on dumb idiots giving him or her the information they need to "hack" your msn/e mail accounts etc. I’d hardly call it “hacking” as there’s nothing complex about it…..

It's social engineering, it seems his job is being made very easy though.

Not even a script kiddie, he's going to your secret question, seeing it's your first cat, asking your first cat then getting the answer, that's praying on the stupid more than anything.

I know what social engineering is yes, hackers of yore used it extensively.

I'd not credit asking somebody what school they went to as hacking though.
