i've sold loads of cans without a v5, actually none of my cans have ever had a v5

lol ok i actually laughed myself when i read what i wrote, but seriously, ive misplaced the v5 for my CAR and someones buying it so they can just apply for it? does it cost them the £25?

What to do, is have all the proof you can you own the car, they're a form to fill out at the post-office, or read the dvla website it'll tell you how, not sure if they pay or not, sure if you buy a car without them you get them free. Where'as if you loose them no joy!

well thats good if they dont need to pay, and by post it takes 6 weeks to come through if i was to order it

do you have a green slip???

if so put new persons details in get the new v5 form and fill that out too then tick the never recieved new logbook and u get it for free

i have the wee green slip off the old v5 from when i bought it if thats what your meanin mate??

fill in a v62 either you or the new owner, attach the green slip and you get the replacement v5 for free
