hi all i have just brought an L reg corsa sri 1.4 8v after bringing it home on the tow truck and fixing the head gaskit i drove it up and down the rd to find when you excelerate hardish in 1st and 2nd it pulls all over the rd and if you let go of the wheel at low speed it dose a full lock to the right on its own has any one got a clue whats rong

a loose gearbox mount it sounds like!
If you put the footdown and go one way, and then brake and go the other it's gearbox mount.
it could be your bottom ball joints>
Split chassis cuases those symptoms, but i doubt it's that.

hi mate thanks for the quick reply i just checked the mounts and the look fine rocked the engine and the hole car moved so im guessing they are fine. checked the ball joints earlyer and they seemed fine too. do you think it could be the rack as if you let go of the streering wheel at low speen it dose a full lock to the right on its own

check your front cross member for corrosion!
the tie bar could be moving around in a puddle of rust

thanks for the help guys stripped the front of the car yesterday to find the front cross member had come off on the drivers side any iders hows best to weld it back on

buy a new one, and get it spot welded, if un-sure give to someone who is comfident doing this job! it's rather important
