Probably the most anticipated reformation has happened!!!!!!!!!!
The boys are back together and are doing a 21 date tour this summer!!!! Full original lineup too (Well, Mani, Reni, Ian and John anyway so not quite original)

Was reading this in the Paper earlier but their website seems to rubbish the claims

I'm still dubious too, its one of those things that I 'wish' would be true though so i'll go along with it in the hope that it is.
A couple of things don't add up though. Johnny boy is doing art galleries this summer, around the time they are 'supposed' to be. John has been quoted to have said that he doesnt play much anymore (let's be honest, his solo effort was shite) and prefers to focus on his art more.
Lets see, and hope.

second coming was fucking great, if any other band had done something so diverse it would be a great lp, but the stone roses had too much to live up to so it was always going to be an anti climax to the critics.
ive seen them twice so great if they reform, but if they dont then never mind.

I like it.
Ten Storey Love Song is one of the best songs they ever did.
Tears, How Do You Sleep, Good Times - All brilliants songs along the same quality as stuff off the first album. Agreed the rest of the album is fairly average, but these songs more than make up for it.

driving south, tightrope, daybreak????? fairly average
its such a good lp, if a new band had released it the music press would have been wanking over it, because it was the stone roses it was never going to live up to the hype the press created. quality lp by a great band
