is the pressure not determined by your boiler?

depends where the water is coming from? combi boiler or hot water cylinder?
Combi - not much chance although u can alter it a little
hot water cylinder - get a pump for it

Depends how far the presure has to travel. Mine is in the next room as the boiler and is like a power shower
I don't think you can put an extra pump on, but i'm no plummer. Although, i did fit a rad the other day

Combi's are not well known for their ability to deliver large amounts of hot water to something like a shower. Ive got an electric shower.....much better!!
The fact yours has junior in the name gives the impression its not up to the job!

I went for a bigger boiler for this reason. Ive got a Glow worm Ultracom CXi which is 30kW. ive tried my mixer shower and i wouldnt say the water is blasting out but there is a high volume of water. Im sure my boiler can put out around 12 litres per min on domestic hot water.

the 24 means 24 kilowatts, not really that powerful, I nearly always put at least a 30KW in for this reason, people always expect far too much from combi boilers, I dont rate them myself, I much prefer a tank and cylinder.

Just on the subject of showers and water preasure.
I havve a 9Kw Gainsburgh electric shower (Spelling sorry)
It works fine until some one turns a tap on, either in our house or nex door. then preasure drops and water goes freezing cold.
I can only assume the change in preasure trips the shower out as its trying to heat less water at the same rate it was trying to heet the larger amount of water at. (confusing.)
Any idias in how i may resolve this!?
