its a bit grim, Tokyo's is probably your best bet. There are your usual steady bars such as a vodka revolution and plenty of the usual llyods, scream type places but that is about it.

Good luck As a student here, it's bollocks Last few years it has died, like carl said you have Tokyo's which is alright. Then theres bar MyMou (> HERE <) which is pretty good. Shang Thai is around the corner, can be alright. And then you have your student places like Camel, Iocus, Revs, Flying Circus - which are pretty much dives.

Best bet is to jump on a train to leeds, 30 mins and it's a shit load better

I think Huddersfield is a quite decent night out, much better than Leeds anyways

There is a long strip type road with loads of bars on it. Depends what your into but we always start in Warehouse down the bottom and work our way up.

There is your typical shit holes likes lile Lloyds & Yates, but also a couple of decent indipendant bars an all. Zepher (sp) is quite good. Rouge is normally cheap as fuck. Cotton Factory is spot on if you like funky house music (top floor) Izaccs aint bad either, so is Revoloution. Tokyo's is a decent place to end up. Flying Circus is a bit Chavy for my liking.

TBH if you can find Burger King, then there is about 20 bars/pubs all within 2 mins walking distance so you've got plenty of choice.

Home to the hottest gamblers in the country, although that doesn't help you on a good spot for a night out
