Hi all,
Considering putting front heated leathers into my corsa B in the next few months.
What seats would be suited to it?
As theres a vectra "elite" in my scrap yard atm (Abso perfect) and their heated so wondering if they fit a corsa as easily etc
Also what is the wiring like for this?? I have a corsa sport R-reg
Cheers

When I stripped an L reg Corsa GSI it was all fully wired for heated front seats, Just needed the fuse fitting.
My poverty spec X reg Corsa had the wiring from the dash to the passenger footwell multi plug. I used the wiring from the GSi to run from the multi plug to the seats.
I think yours may have the full wiring in, Take a front seat out and check the loom running underneath, The plug there may be taped up.
You could fit the Vectra seats but may need welding to the Corsa frame.

Ah i have noticed there is a wire under my seats, but assumbed it was something too do with the airbag?
Are there heated leathers in the range that are a straight fit or are they all welding jobbies?
How hard is it to wire it and connect up etc?

Pass on what seat fits. I know plenty of people fit the Calibra leather fronts to the Corsa but never looked at the fitment.
I have Vectra Recaro seats to mine which I've used Corbreau frames with wider tabs welded to them so I could drill holes for the Recaro frame.
I am not sure if the Vectra Recaro fits different to the Vectra, I assume they do as there are adaptor bars required to fit the Recaro seats to the Vectra.
You got a pic of the plugs under your seats?
Doubt you'd have airbag plugs under your seats, Is it a Corsa B?
Just seen yours is a Corsa B, iirc no B had side airbags so won't have wiring for them to the seat.
Sounds like those plugs will be heated seat wiring, What colour are the wires?
All I did for mine was remove the full piece of loom from each seat to the multip plug, I even removed the pins out of the plug and fit them to the relevant place in my plug. simple

Yup heated too, Well I hope so. We used heater pads from an old Volvo which are 3 pin but we only connected the earth and live. I'm guessing the third wire is a pressure sensor or something to activate the pads when someon is in the seat. We'e left it out until we know if it's - or +.
Tbh it was my mate who fitted the pads for me as he did his own too. But need any help let me know and i'll get the gen

Parts guy tries to run away when I go in. I'm in there every week buying odd bits that need ordering, I always have the part number to hand. Is a bit of a ball ache when the number has been changed though.
I'm actually in there tomorrow picking up a part for my mate. It's great working round the corner from Vauxhall dealer and getting trade prices
