i have 9 points i drive proper carefuly now!
was a bit peed of tho i got 6 points and a 200 quid fine for undertaking on a two land sliproad!
i know someone that mounted a pavement and knocked someone else up in the air, she was facing an intension to murder or something and left court with a careless driving 6 points! same as me! how is this fair? that girl should be locked up

On Edinburgh road chief in the east end..
They were sitting just after it changes from a 40 to a 30.
30's a ridiculous speed for that road anyway.. It's a 6 lane dual carriage way.
Ach well.. Done now I suppose.

Not really much point.. I got caught doing 45
And John yeah can quite easily do 40ish all the way down there safely. The 30mph bit is pretty much straight and you can see everything around you.
Ach well.. Reckon the premium will go up much?

"Namely that they should not be convicted if trees and hedges overhanging or obscuring signs mean they cannot properly see the signs, and they are not given adequate notice of changes in the speed limit."
Mr Coombes was caught in a police speed trap on the B3139 Bath Road at Horrington near Wells last July.
He was convicted of speeding by Mendip magistrates in January 2006 and fined £250 and ordered to pay £150 legal costs.
At Bristol Crown Court, both conviction and fine were upheld in April 2006, and he was ordered to pay an extra £229 legal costs.
The High Court said his legal costs should be reimbursed out of public funds.

My insurance went up £150 once i had declared 6 points  I've not declared mileage until next renewal as i bought the car from a dealer pre-registerd with nothing documented to say the mileage when i took ownership. I will declared the miles next renewal as they are getting pretty high now.
