little update:
VXR: the exhaust is a manifold down titanium exhaust (added optional extra)
They now quoted him 6-8 weeks cause they' re waiting for a exhaust to be made in France.
He's trying to get a Cilo 197 off them or Megane Sport for a courtesy car

Don't think he's put off by it.... he had the megane r26 for a year and had no problems with it. Just this one's thrown a wobbler.
He's more cheesed off at the fact that they're won't give him something equivalent to drive in the meantime

At least they are fixing it all, I'd let them bang all the new parts on they wanted.

I really like the Megane's but hearing of problems like this really puts me off
Been thinking about getting an R26 for a while, but just got that feeling that after a while I'd regret it

Bummer on the wait time
Bonus internet cool brownie points for a full titanium system.
Some of these hardcore corsa people should look into them as the weight savings are quite high. Esp when your chasing that final few kg....
tbh, i'd demand a high spec car like a 197!!!!!!

Thats not too bad. just a Backbox for a normal 225 (stainless steel) was £1400 new with a fitting clamp. Made by bosal, but only avilable through renault.
